After 23 years with Otter Creek Engineering, Bill Norland retired at the end of June. Bill has been an integral part of the OCE team, and his contributions to our clients, projects, and colleagues have left a lasting mark on the firm.
Over the course of his career, Bill built a reputation as a trusted and highly skilled geologist with deep expertise in groundwater investigations, environmental site assessments and remediations, and well design and siting. His command of the technical disciplines within his field, combined with his commitment to thorough, accurate, and practical work, made him an invaluable resource on countless projects throughout his tenure at OCE.
Bill is known for his calm and methodical approach and his generosity with his expertise and wisdom that made him both a strong asset to the firm and a joy to work with. His professional relationships with clients, regulators, and project partners reflected the integrity and dedication that has defined his career.
We wish Bill the best in his well-earned retirement. His contributions to Otter Creek Engineering and to the communities we serve will not be forgotten, and we are grateful for his contributions to our firm and the environmental health of Vermont!
