WASTEWATER
OCE can provide a full range of wastewater engineering services, including state-mandated system evaluations and the planning, design, permitting and construction-related services for sewer/stormwater system separations and wastewater treatment systems on the municipal, commercial, and residential levels.
SITE DEVELOPMENT
Developing land in Vermont can be a challenge, given the different layers of permitting that are often involved. We will work with you to identify early in the process potential permitting hurdles and other implications that may derail a project. Once we’ve identified the constraints and opportunities presented by a project, our surveyors perform a detailed survey of the project site. Our firm of civil and environmental engineers then collaborates with you to implement your vision for the property within the confines of the regulations.
STORMWATER
Having contributed to the Vermont Stormwater Management Manual, our staff is intimately familiar with the practices and benefits of stormwater treatment, collection, and retention design. On an annual basis, we also work with clients across Vermont to assist with on-going stormwater compliance inspections, permits renewals, and recertification.
ENVIRONMENTAL
Our staff completes phase 1 and 2 environmental site assessments (ESA) and performs underground storage closure assessments. The findings of an ESA or underground storage closure assessment may require site remediation. If you own a contaminated property, we are available to assist in documenting the extent of contamination, completing the design and permitting necessary to remediate the site, and carrying out the ongoing compliance monitoring.
