Every summer, OCE seeks interns to support future generations of engineers and environmental scientists. In 2024, we brought on five interns, primarily to go door-to-door across Vermont and collect data for the Lead Service Line Inventory, a federally mandated program by the Environmental Protection Agency. OCE inventoried over 10,000 properties and provided on-site investigations to determine if the water service line contained lead. The interns gained valuable experience interacting with homeowners, examining site conditions, and collecting reliable information. We’d like to thank our interns for their professionalism and reliability in representing Otter Creek Engineering and the communities we serve well. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.
