Nathan Claessens, E.I.

Staff Engineer II

Nathan knew that he wanted to be a civil engineer since he was a child and marveled at the big construction projects he’d see on the side of the road. He recently graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and a minor in Pure Mathematics from UVM. After interning with a local construction company, he became focused on soils and water flow during the construction process. He has pursued this interest at Otter Creek Engineering, first working part-time while finishing his degree and now moving into a full-time staff engineer position.

Outside of work, Nathan loves to spend time with his wife, Kalah, and son, Rowan. He was active in a pickup soccer league in Burlington during college, and he hopes to become involved in the Brandon/Pittsford recreation departments now that he has finished school.
