Drew Kiernan

rew first became interested in civil engineering when his father would bring him to the office in Middlebury after hockey practice and give him a firsthand look at what civil engineers do. Once in high school, he excelled in math and took engineering classes at the Hannaford Career Center in Middlebury. Drew worked for a small contractor the summer before his senior year at Norwich University and liked physically seeing projects come to fruition. After interning for a Vermont contractor before joining OCE, Drew has taken to fieldwork and has been assisting with on-site observations during construction.

Drew is an avid motorsports fan, and after a friend introduced him to Formula One racing, he became interested in everything from NASCAR, rally, and IndyCar racing. He hopes to attend a live event for each of the main racing types!
